Howard Chang
Grad and Faculty Ministry Staff Team Leader

Howard serves as a Team Leader in InterVarsity’s Graduate and Faculty Ministries (GFM) Pacific Area. He oversees GFM ministries in the Central Valley including the graduate student and faculty groups at UC Davis. Howard is an ordained minister who served in churches for over 20 years and holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Hey!! I am a proud Aggie alumnus who majored in Sociology and this year, I’ll be going into my 5th year on staff with InterVarsity! I love cooking for others (HMU!), music jams, playing sports (go Warriors!), learning about new cultures and having meaningful conversations about life! InterVarsity was my core community when I was in college and it has continued to play a significant role in my own discipleship--my love for communal study of God's word, my joy in multiethnic worship, my heart for prayer, my longing for justice and racial reconciliation, my identity as God's beloved...I think Jesus is pretty awesome and my hope is that others get to "come and see" Him for themselves!

Hi! This year I'm volunteering with InterVarsity. I currently work as a manager at Mikunis (a Japanese restaurant in downtown Davis). I love basketball and worshipping with others. I first got connected to InterVarsity at Solano Community College and then got involved at UC Davis! It has played a significant role in my own journey with Jesus. I'm excited to see how this year goes!
